My last paper for this semester ends today. It was supposed to mark the end of my course too. But unfortunately, I was not lucky enough. So, longer I shall stay.
I saw the fellow friends that I made while I first entered this course. And today, I met then all again in the examinations hall. It was then at that point of time, that I realised it's time to bid them goodbye.
I understand that we could always meet up for suppers, gatherings blah blah to keep in contact. But really, some people are just too busy. I bet I will be too when I enter into the workforce. Not only that, out of that 100 people in my class, I only know about 30 odd people. Out of this 30 odd, I only have contacts of approximately 10 people. It's only during this couple of years that I understand that it really takes a lot of effort in a friendship. Even if I try hard to befriend others, the friendship would not work if the other party does not reciprocate.
It really sets my mind wondering who are those people that I really will miss when they are out of my school life. I know for sure, not to miss out the two 'he's. One is a friend for years, one is a friend who looks after me in class. In short, both are buddies who lend me listening ears. It is always the sight of them that makes me feel much happier in class. (Seriously, my course is damn boring.)
A little note that adds on my wish list, is to maintain such friendships with my friends from school for as long as I can. I yearn for a real lasting friendship, for I know how vulnerable it is.

its hilarious when i saw ur post and its dated 07 Nov 2006 and I saw tat my com clock is 06 Nov 2006...its like u r so ahead in time..lolz
paiseh.. i realised that the date was wrong. so i changed it already. haha.. i was surprised to see the wrong date too
